Tertulia Chamber Music and bean-to-bar chocolate makers Dandelion (San Francisco) teamed up to present Brooklyn-based flutist Annie Wu’s dessert-inspired show, “Not Too Sweet.” Named after the cheeky Chinese phrase for the perfect dessert, this hour-length evening event took flute and piano pieces from Wu’s recent album, interwoven with personal stories about childhood, nostalgia, and memory, and artfully paired them with Dandelion desserts. This unique, multi-sensory exploration united not-too-sweet flavors, stories, and sounds.
