Carnegie Hall

Flutist and creative storyteller, Annie Wu, presents “Not Too Sweet,” a program combining exquisite selections by Fauré, Sibelius, Dvořák, and more with personal stories of childhood, nostalgia, and memory. Named after the cheeky Chinese phrase for the perfect dessert, this hour-length evening creates a delicate blend of bitter and sweet that encourages audiences to reflect on life’s many turning points.

An artist known for exploring the narrative possibilities of music across mediums, including the literary and culinary, Wu’s show is an intimate and innovative approach to building connection through classical music. The Not Too Sweet tour included the cities and series below:
