Let’s get serious about being specific. What are you trying to say? Why? What tools do you have to do this? In what context is this being done? What is the result?

COMMUNICATION AND EXPRESSION

I deeply value language as a tool for identifying feelings, convictions, and goals.
Through sharpening students' ability to describe what they hear and where they want to go, students will develop the ability to self-guide and become their own lifelong teachers.

COMMUNITY AND PEOPLE

The many hours in the practice room and in lessons or rehearsal culminate in a moment in front of an audience.
It’s essential to consider all the details: how you are cultivating that audience, how your performance is uniquely yours, and how you are making that experience memorable.

HOLISTIC PRACTICE

I want to set students up not just to be fantastic flutists, but to be holistic, interesting, expressive, and fulfilled artists and people – because that is what sustains a career and a life.

Can I have a trial lesson before I commit to a schedule?
Absolutely. Trial lessons have the pricing as regular lessons. Send me a note via my CONTACT page, and I'll share relevant information with you.

How often should I have a lesson?

For serious students, I recommend once a week, but for those preparing for competitions or auditions, more frequency can be arranged. If you are interested in monthly lessons or one-off lessons, please reach out with your specifics, as regular students will be prioritized.
